Retina is the area at the back of the eye that receives light and sends pictures of what the eyes sees to the brain.

People with retinal diseases may have the following symptoms: Increase in number and size of eye floaters with flashes, Shadows in peripheral vision, appearance of grey curtain over part of vision and sudden decrease in vision.
